What is Number Sniper? ▾
We run an automated search engine that scans carrier inventory around the clock and catalogs premium local numbers — repeating digits, sequences, and vanity words — the moment they become available, so you can search, buy, or negotiate on them directly.
Do I need to buy a phone or plan to use a number I purchase? ▾
No — you already have a carrier or VoIP plan. After checkout, you port the number over to your existing service using the account number and PIN we email you. See our Porting Guide for the full walkthrough.
What's the difference between "Add to Cart" and "Make an Offer"? ▾
Numbers with a listed price can be bought instantly through Add to Cart. Numbers open to negotiation show Make an Offer instead — you propose a price and we respond directly in your account.
How long is a number held for me? ▾
Once you add a number to your cart, or have an offer accepted, it's reserved for a limited window shown on the number page and in your cart. If checkout isn't completed before it expires, the number returns to public listings automatically.
What happens if someone else wants the same number? ▾
Whoever reserves it first — by adding it to their cart or having an accepted offer — holds it until checkout or until the reservation expires. If it expires unused, it becomes available to the next buyer.
Can I get a refund after buying a number? ▾
Because a number is provisioned specifically to you and can't be resold as new, all sales are final once your order is confirmed, except where required by law or where we determine an error on our part warrants one. See our Terms of Service for the full policy.
Will the number work for texting, not just calls? ▾
Yes — every number we sell is a standard local number, so once it's ported to your carrier or VoIP provider it supports calls and texting the same as any other local line.
Is this a subscription? ▾
No — every purchase is a one-time fee. There are no recurring charges from us for owning the number.
Do you sell toll-free numbers? ▾
No — we only search and sell standard local numbers.
